Following a year’s barrage of gin events around London, Sharking for Chips and Drinks are partnering with Garnish Communications in running the first ever ‘Vodka Rocks’ on what we’re now calling National Vodka Week.
Vodka Rocks brings together a number of the most interesting vodka brands currently available in the UK for a week of events promoting all that’s great about the spirit. From bottomless Bloody Mary’s to a six course vodka tasting menu there’s plenty of actives going-on throughout London from the 9th to 15th of November.
While Absolut Vodka’s sales tumble premium, small batch and craft vodka sales have continued to rise. Drinkers have started to discover that not all vodkas ‘taste the same’ and it’s a drink people can start to get excited about once again.
Vodka Rocks have pulled together some of the most interesting vodka brands currently available in the UK to host a series of seven events across National Vodka Week.
From bottomless Snow Queen Bloody Marys at The Jones Family Project, Babicka conjuring up a special witches brew at The Drunken Monkey, RubyBlue Vodka using their Irish potatoes to make a special cocktail menu at Brixton’s Shrub & Shutter to Vestal Vodka launching their ‘2014 vintage vodka’ at their Kentish Town home, Ladies & Gents.
The main event brings together all of the vodka brands on Saturday 14th November at Printwork Kitchen where the organisers have a six vodka tasting menu across two evening sittings, including; vodka cured salmon, meat infused Moscow Mules and much more.

Monday 9th November
Join the Czech Rupublic’s Babicka Vodka for a night on the witch’s brew at The Drunken Monkey, Shoreditch. Guest list entries will be the first to taste the cocktail made in exclusive partnership with Vodka Rocks. From 8.30pm customers can come and enjoy the cocktail which will specially priced throughout the week.

Tuesday 10th November
Take a journey downstairs Ladies 7 Gents, Kentish Town for the launch of Vestal Vodka’s first UK tasting of their 2014 vintage. William Borrell, founder will be available to talk guests through what makes Vestal such an original vodka alongside what makes 2014 different to the others.

Thursday 12th November
Head south to Brixton’s best cocktail bar, The Shrub and Shutter
. The team at the Shrub have been busy with RubyBlue Vodka to come-up with vodka cocktails like you’ve never seen before. Tables and bookings available to taste through the exclusive cocktail menu.
Friday 13th November

Saturday 14th November
The Vodka Rocks team bring together some of the best vodka’s available in the UK to Printworks Kitchen in Clerkenwell for a six course tasting menu which includes: inventive cocktails, booze-soaked food, sensory tasting experiences and more.
There are two sittings at: 18:30 and 21:00 at £20 per ticket (includes all food and drink).
Sunday 15th November
Finish Vodka Rocks off in style with bottomless Bloody Mary’s at The Jones Family Project
, Old Street. Snow Queen Vodka are keeping the The Jones Family stocked whilst they serve their often highly commended roast dinner.
