Born in South Australia and raised everywhere from the Northern Suburbs of Melbourne to country Victoria, Jordon moved to Melbourne and started his apprenticeship at age eighteen. Through his apprenticeship he worked at the Argo in South Yarra and The Carlton Wine Room. Over two and a half years he rose through the ranks and was running the pastry menu and building the business’ social media. After leaving the Wine Room in 2014 he met with Ryan Flaherty at his new restaurant Mister Jennings where he is now currently working with the small and dedicated team.
Daniel was born and raised in Southern Sydney and started working as a kitchen hand at just fourteen before beginning an apprenticeship at fifteen. He then took the better part of a year exploring Eastern Europe and settling in Budapest, Hungary interested by their food culture. Dan returned to Australia and quickly moved to Melbourne switching his focus to South East Asian after getting a taste of the cuisine on the last leg of his return. He spent two years at Red Spice Road where he rose through the ranks to be appointed Sous Chef. In 2014 Dan became Head Chef of the Susie Wong Restaurant + Bar serving South East Asian dishes with a focus on old world preservation techniques. Dan is currently in the kitchen at Clever Polly’s learning as much as he can about matching food with natural wines.
