Malaysia’s answer to Willy Wonka, ice cream connoisseur Ong Kee Win has been getting busy with strange flavours and surprising textures for years under his Cielo Dolci brand, which incidentally means ‘heaven’s dessert’ in Italian and now you can indulge in a range of his ices at this candy-coloured café. Serving up to 10 permanent flavours, with a few seasonal changes thrown into the mix – durian flavour never fails to divide opinion, all-natural gelatos and sorbets contain no artificial flavourings, colourings or preservatives. The café also serves frozen desserts and decadently rich sundaes. Best to think about starting that diet another day.
