What is it? Artisanal cocktails, wine bar, speakeasy.Who’s behind it? Andrew & Caroline (Who are also the founders of The Good Batch Cafe & Bar which is conveniently located at the Ground floor). Andrew has a strong background in the hospitality industry, being manager at various F&B outlets and was even a bartender during his younger days, whilst Caroline was previously a flight attendant for Singapore Airlines, her strength is in the service sector and she also has garnered experiences in marketing and management.

Size? Designed by Caroline & Andrew themselves with inspirations from around the world, HYDE exudes a very old-school classic vibe that reminds us of the Great Gatsby days. They’ve taken a risky route of currently ensuring it is a no-smoking indoors policy (seats about 40), while smokers can enjoy the seating at their outdoor balcony (seats approx 25-30). There’s also a private/secret room at the end of the room that can sit up to 10 people comfortably.

What’s on the Menu?  Bi-weekly selection of cocktails (the classics and some re-engineered) and if you’re siting by the bar, you can make a personal request to the head bartender (who is conveniently Mr Andrew himself) and have a special concoction made to suit your taste buds. There’s also an amazing selection of liquors and wines. Andrew even has a variety of house made syrups and fresh fruits that are dehydrated on a daily basis.

Light snacks are also available such as truffle fries with a garlic aioli dip, seafood sui gao with a homemade chili dip and spiced lamb sausage with potatoes.
