You’re going to London, for a vacation or for longer? That’s great! Now, I assume you have a smartphone, because really, who doesn’t these days? Therefore, I’ve put together some helpful and fun apps that will help you get around, find things to do, and make your trip a bit more smooth and easy!

TRAVEL AND TRANSPORTATION

Uber

Uber London

For the most part you will be using the London Underground. But there will be times you will need to travel above ground and for that I suggest using Uber. Uber costs less than a traditional Black Cab, you can score free water or sweets plus the driver follows a Google Map to your destination. Sign up to Uber now to claim your first free ride worth £10 and so that you don’t have to worry about trying to score a WiFi signal and download it when you need it.

But when above ground I suggest pounding the pavements as this will be the only way you’ll be able to see the city and duck down all the alleyways that you’d otherwise miss. Walking in between tubes you will notice how close the stations actually are so when you do get tired it super easy to just duck down and grab the next tube.
